By now almost everyone have heard about the gathering in kuala lumpur on 9th july 2011. There were so many on line reports , photographs and video on you tube. There is no way after reading all those reports and seeing the videos one can remain indifference. You must have felt anger, and sad at the same time on what is happening to our country. What ever reputation the police has it's all gone. They could have won the people's respect if they had handle things differently and fairly instead of following blindly orders given by their top people ,who in turn must have gotten their orders from those in power.
This is no way to deal with peace loving people. I mean tear gas and water cannon? They were expecting a riot,but what I saw (from videos and photos) were decent people. Anyway there were two articles I came across .They were there ,these are their stories.

ReplyDeleteour malaysian papers do not report the real thing.I think they are not allow to do so otherwise their permit will not be renew. Even radio were not allowed to mention the word bersih. you should follow the foreign media or online news like malaysia today or Malaysia insider.
Thanks for sharing those blogs. Following the news on media alone isn't enough, because they (sometimes) don't report the actual situation. Reading the first-hand experiences of the bloggers about Malaysia and humanitarian almost brought tears to my eyes. Despite the chaos during the rally, most Rakyat helped each other and that matter the most. We are Malaysian, we are united.

ReplyDeleteour media do not report the actual thing. it's better to follow the internet report and blogs.yes the people were united. it is BN who tried to cause the people to be divided. Next election tell your friends and family to vote wisely. we must vote for change. we want to be truly malaysian.
