TWICE UNLUCKY

Can't believe my rotten luck. Was on my way to work when I heard a very familiar sound. My first thought was oh no not again.? I stopped the car and checked my tyre and sure enough, I had a puntured tyre. There as a small spanner sticking out of my tyre. I have seen people whose tyre was puntured by screw driver in the past and I thought it was weird and now I had a spanner in my tyre.
Why do people just throw such stuff on the road?
It is less than a month I had a puntured on the same wheel. I was travelling back to my hometown then . That was why I was familiar with the sound when it occurred again this morning. In my earlier incident my son was driving and he would not let me changed the tyre . He was able to changed it rather quickly as he used to work at a tyre shop before. A frightening thing happen when I had the puntured tyre sent to the shop to patch up and while he was filling the air on the tyre and I was talking to him , it explored. Good thing no one was hurt. I learnt from him there was an incident when someone was hurt when a tyre explored.
What is your bizarre tyre experience?

First incident and my son changed the tyre.

Spanner pierced through the tyre.

LEARNING THE ROPES AGAIN

After 6 weeks of anxiety and hard work, we finally completed our course on safety climbing.
Some of the areas covered were:-
*Belaying(which I had earlier gone through at another climbing gym, so this is like a refesher course for me)
*Climbing technique
*Bouldering (not easy but interesting and challenging)
*lead climbing -nice enough but I dont want to get myself killed doing this ha ha
*some useful knots memory refreshed :figure of '8” knot and clove hitch which I had learnt during my children ministry days with the Royal Rangers.
The reason I signed up for this course was to encourge my son and my friend . I am glad they enjoyed themselves doing this together.

Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) corporate affairs division executive director, Abdul Halem Mat Som, said the water supply disruption would affect the consumers in 153 areas in Hulu Selangor, Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, Klang/Shah Alam and Kuala Langat.

Solution for those who forgot to store water and the water tankers did not turn up at your area:-

The week end is almost here. Have a nice day folks.
