PHOTOSHOOT WITH TWO BEAUTIFUL MODELS

This is the first time I have paid to take part in a photo shooting session. It was scheduled at 9.00am this morning and we were to meet up at the BHP petrol station by 8.45am before proceeding to the location for shooting. As usual there will be late comers as this has been a bad habit of malaysian. They are never on time. By 9.00 the  organiser  led us to the location which was just near by the petrol station. One guy did not turn up at the meeting point and so we left without him. The weather was fine today, not too hot. We did some shooting at the abandon railway  station . Here are some of the pictures , fruits of my labour. Still rooms for improvement no doubts. I am thinking of attending a photography workshop.

MAYBE THIS WAS WHAT I WAS IN SEARCH OF...

My blogger friend Eugene wrote this on his blog Friday.I am in search of...That is part of the title of my blog In search of. which remind me the reason why I had chosen that title for my blog. What was I seeking , what was I searching for.? Would you believe it..love, a little caring maybe?  Now don't get me wrong. I was'nt looking for  that kind of relationship, but rather a father-daugther type. She was just anyman would want for a daughter, friendly and warm and beautiful as well.  Since I do not have a daughter of my own and when she agreed to be my god daughter , I was the happiest man on earth on that day. Of course I could not wait to share the news with my wife. But she was less enthusiastic about the whole thing and caution me to be prepared for disappointment.
This was because my first god daughter had deceided to severe ties , but that is another story which is too personal to share here. I was hoping this time I might get lucky and the relationship might impoved or last. Call  it silly or pathetic but you can blame a guy (who has so much love to share)  for trying can you.? Honestly I am not sure if things have improved or will improve in the future. Our relationship has been like a roller coaster. ups and downs.
Just a couple of day ago another girl came into my life. she called me papa.  Oh no, here we go again. This time I am not going to get myself involved and be hurt later on. Better listen to the advice of my wise wife.

DON'T GIVE UP

This story was sent to me by my friend Jane(thanks Jane) Just to encourage those who might be discourage. Keep going, dont give up.

One day a young lady was driving along with her father.
They came upon a storm, and the young lady asked her father, What should I do?"

He said "keep driving". Cars began to pull over to the side, the storm was getting worse.

"What should I do." The young lady asked?

"Keep driving," her father replied..

On up a few feet, she noticed that eighteen wheelers were also pulling over. She told her dad, "I must pull over, I can barely see ahead. It is terrible, and everyone is pulling over!"

Her father told her, "Don't give up, just keep driving!"

Now the storm was terrible, but she never stopped driving, and soon she could see a little more clearly. After a couple of miles she was again on dry land, and the sun came out.

Her father said, "Now you can pull over and get out."

She said "But why now?"

He said "When you get out, look back at all the people that gave up and are still in the storm, because you never gave up your storm is now over.

This is a testimony for anyone who is going through "hard times".

Just because everyone else, even the strongest, gives up. You don't have to...if you keep going, soon your storm will be over and the sun will shine upon your face again.

This story touched me! I hope it touched you! Enjoy & Learn

Happy Birthday, Father!

An interesting story I read in one of the blog which I can't resist to share here.

Dad you would have been 59 years old today. That fact alone just boggles my mind. What would you look like today? Would you have changed a lot over the course of the last 7 years? I know I have. It's been a pretty tough week leading up to today. Well, really, who am I kidding? It's been a rollercoaster of emotions for the past 7 years, but your birthday always hits my heart extra hard.

I know I've been angry and frustrated with you, but what I've never told anyone, maybe not even myself? Not a day goes by that I don't wonder what life would be like if you were still here. Sometimes I wonder if there is another me - another version of my life - living in some alternate universe somewhere, a universe where you never got cancer, a universe where you never committed suicide, a universe where I wouldn't know what it feels like to miss you so much that sometimes I don't know what to do. And of course a universe where I wouldn't have so much anger toward you. I hate that anger. I really do. I don't want to be angry with you. I want to miss you. I want to remember those good times we had without the volcano of anger always bubbling up just below the surface.

Oranges and Calcium

Funny just strolling at the mall, one can end up buying something.  I did not intend to shop anything today. My visit to the mall was just to settle my utility bill at the post office which was inside the mall. As I made my way down the escalator I  passed by some stall which was having some promotion  and one of the stall was promoting vitamin c. The sales girl was offering sample drink of the vitamin and since I was offered it was not polite to turn down the offer. Soon she started talking the benefit of the products and before I  knew it I was at the counter with a pack. Maybe I am just too soft and does not know how to say no.  Anyway I would not say it was a waste of money as I had intended to buy this product after hearing it so often on air. It is call Ca-C 1000 sandoz. It is suppose to be a combination of vitamin c and calcium in a single effervescent tablet, which means we do not have to take two different kind of tablet. Accordingly to the  flyer I received each tablet contains the equivalent of 17 oranges and one glass of milk.  It is so easy to take just drop one tablet into a cup of water and drink it down.  I hate taking tablet and pills so this suite me fine. Since I am at the gym most of the time and the classes I attended are in an enclosed area and without ventilation, one is bound to catch a flu easily in that kind of environment.  It is better to play safe,so I am taking my vitamin c daily to built my resistant. It's no fun having a running nose.

MISSING SOMEONE? WHY DON'T YOU SHOW IT.

What would you do  ,if you really missed someone? The logical thing would be to tell them. There is nothing wrong to show you missed them, even the dog knows how to miss it's master as shown in this video below

Call them and tell them, have a meal , a movie or even to the mall together. Do it now

Don't wait till it is to late.

Another Trip to Tabur West.

I Cannot remember when it was that I first  hike at Tabur West, however I had revisited Tabur East just two weeks ago. My account can be found here.  Today , I had another memorable and fun hike at Tabur West.
A friend whom I had met on an earlier hike at Tabur East was suppose to lead a team of keen hikers to the other side of Tabur, but at the last minute she could not make it and have given my telephone number to a friend who was to take over her role. I arrived early this morning, as I always do, at our prearranged meeting place, which was a mamak restaurant nearby. At the agreed time all the hikers turn up plus a few new faces. We quickly introduced ourselves and make our way to our destination. As most of them have never been to this side of the mountain, I volunteer to direct them and they followed  from behind. Within a few minutes  we arrived at a place which looks familiar. As soon as I saw the water pipe along the road, I knew we had arrived at the wrong destination. Apparently I must have input the wrong coordination on my gsp.Luckily another girl had also brought along her gsp  with the correct coordination, we arrived at the entrance leading to Tabur West.
Somehow each time whenever we revisit a place it seems much earlier than the first time .Even the trails which   was very challenging appear to be easy the second time round. Today's  trip consist of 8 persons including me .I found this group of hikers had a very good attitude, they were willing to take up the challenge and do not give up easily. There was one girl who had difficulties going down the slope which was not easy. We try to persuade her to use the option which was another route which was much easier, but she was determind to go by the way everybody else was using. After a couple of attempt she finally succeeded in getting down the difficult slope. We started our climb at around 8.10 am and completed around  11.30am  .I just cannot describe the feeling each time I am at the top of the mountain. I felt so at peace and relaxed. When it was time to go down, I had wanted to go back the same way we came up, but the others  wanted to take the short cut through the plantation .The majority had spoken and so it was. This route was not as steep as the tabur east, so it did not hurt my toes this time. The route save us two hours or so.
Although all of us were tired after the trip, but we really enjoyed ourselves and each other's company. After a drink at a nearby stall, we bid each other farewell and hope to meet again in future  hike.
I was suppose to join another hike at broga later in the evening, but had to called up my friend to pull out as I was really tired and my legs were aching.Reach home around 3.00pm had a quick shower and headed for the reflexlogy shop nearby and what a relief after the session.

at peace with nature

ARE YOU A STALKER??

I read with disbelief a fb friend have been stalked by someone again. Accordingly to her, this is the third time ,and all different people. She lamented why she has such misfortune. I was tempted to say because of her beauty, but I did not. Because this lastest one happen to be friend and she did not want to make a big issue out of it or report it. I wonder how do people term a person as a stalker? Does a person who is regulary sending you messages or checking on you be consider as one?  Most stalker are obsessed with the person they stalk and usually after a break up. What if there is no relationship involved. Does that count?  Surely there is a different between showing concern and stalking??  At the most, you friend might think you as a nuisance, but surely do not you qualify you as a stalker.  Can someone throw some light on this??

A MEANS OF COMMUNICATION

I have often wonder how people communicate in the past with their limited facilities, and they seems to manage without much of a problem. A snail mail will take a couple of days to arrive ,if it is a local address, and maybe weeks if it is from overseas. Today, we have emails and  sms which one can sent  message  across the globe at a click of a button. Telephones are so advanced these days. There so many with all kind of functions these days, and yet some do not appeciate it and don't even bother to communicate with their loved ones Surely it is not that difficult to lift up that phone and make a call, or press a few buttons on your cellphone ? Sad indeed. I am never good at waiting, so it is really a torture being told to wait for the call that might not happen at all.  Oh well...

Oh what a day.

Yesterday ,together with a friend and her two children revisted Saga Hill again. She picked me up from my home at around 6.30 am and since most of the shop in klang were not opened yet, we deceided to have breakfast at the R& R on the highway. But when we  got there , there was not many shops opened and so we thought we had better delays our breakfast till we reached Kuala Lumpur. Had breakfast at the cheras market, and after breakfast, could not find our way or remember the route to saga hill. The last time we were here was a couple of months back ,so we tried to ask for directions from some passer by and it did not get us anyway and we were still lost. Finally I deceided to give my  hiking friend  Alvin a call and he gave us a road name which my friend input on her gsp and within 25 minutes or so we arrived at our destination. Climbing up iniatally was quite a problem as with most hills, and after a while  I manage to get to  continue without much problem. It has been quite while since I last climbed here and I have forgotten how steep the slope were. Rested a while on the peak .There was not many people this time round unlike most of my previous hike where the peak was filled with people. Finnaly met with an elderly man who was on the way to the pond to feed the fishes there. My friend Irene and her son Joe, followed her, while I continue resting on the peak.  A few minutes later got a sms message from my friend asking us to join her for tea. Appear her  host had make some tea and I don't want to know where he got the water from.So we made our way down the slope to where the pond was. After a while we took our leave as my friend's daughter had tuition class around 3.00 pm and I had another function in the evening.  We stopped by a friend's fish ball shop at Pandan Indah,. Had a quick lunch and headed for home.Reached home around 2.00pm and rested. Things I need to remember whenever going on a less challenging hike like saga, the other one is tabur. Just a 6 lit water will do. Need not carry heavy bag or heavy camera, just a compact camera  will do.

the fish pond at the mountain top.

In the evening around 5.45pm I followed my son to the yearly event, the Bon Odori 2010.
This event was jointly organised by the Japan club of Kuala Lumpur, the Japanese School of Kuala Lumpur, the Japanese Embassy .I have seen photos of the past event, and so out of curiousity  deceided to check it out. When we reached there around 630pm there was already a big crowd and the seat on the stadium was fully occupied. There were also many food stalls, selling what else but japanese food and drinks , but the price was hiked up. Did 'nt buy any food except for a bottle drink which cost RM3.00 .Tried taking some photographs, but give up after a while as could not moved around much due to the huge crowd at the stage areas where the presentation was held. I notice there was not a single police man to be seen and people just park their vehicles any where and anyhow they liked.some even double parked. There is no consideration for others at all. So would I be coming back next year again? Nah, once is enough.

Here are some of the shots I manage to capture.
