HAPPY RESURRECTION DAY.

Tomorrow Christians around the world will celebrate Good Friday. It is the day Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross to take away the sins of the world. You can follow the Bible account here.
Further reading here.
But he did not remain in the grave, for if he had then all the christains 's faith would have been in vain and we would be believing in a saviour that is dead, but Praise God He is Alive today! He arose after 3 days just as he said He would.
The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.' Now I have told you." (Matthew 28:5-7)
On April 4 of this year, a billion or more people who identify themselves as Christian will celebrate Easter. The week before, a far smaller number will observe Passover.continue reading the rest of the article here.
I just want to say thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for me ,and because you are alive today I can face tomorrow. Thank you for that blessed hope.To all the people out there Happy Easter ,or rather Happy Ressurection Day! God Bless.

FIRST TIME AT ROCK CLIMBING.

Just came back from the rock climbing event at damai wall , batu caves.see the event here..
It was my first attempt, I must say it was not as easy as it looks. I left klang at around 9.30 am and rely fully on my gps and to my surprise it took me right to my destination with no problem at all. There was already alot of people there when I arrived at around 10.45am or so. I have to wait a long time before I got to try out this new game. I did not make it right to the top, only got about 3 quater way and asked to be lower down. There was not much place to grip. and need alot of strenght to pull oneself up. I wished I could stayed longer and try again ,but I had to rushed back to klang for the "cheng Ming"(all soul day) where the people pay respect to the dead at the graveyard. Anyway hopefully I could do better next time. To know more about rock climbing you might like to check out this website
here.
Here are some of the shots of the event.

SUNGEI CHILING WATER FALL

I was looking forward the whole of last week , as it will be my first outting with my beloved god daughter. She had indicated she wanted to go for sure and there is no other plan and I was keeping my fingers crossed she would not changed her mind at the eleventh hour. Then the day came and guess what greet me on that day? A heavy shower. On any other day it will be a welcome as it that is the best condition to continue my sleep, but not on my day when I was looking forward to finally be able to go on an outting with my girl. After two failed trips due to unforseen circumstances, this don't seem to look good and I prayed for the rain to stop and God heard my plead and it stop(for a while). Normally after a heavy rain it is advisable not to go to any water fall and since we were not sure if it rain near the waterfall area,I called up my friend Jason, who called william, the organiser to check. It was agreed we proceed to the waterfall and check it out. During our journey to our destination there was Intermittent rain, which does not give us much hope and so I prayed a silent prayer to God and said it was not funny at all seeing I was looking forward to this trip plus it was also my daughter's anxious trip. now's that she was in the car. After a few stops for some light meals and to ease ourself we arrived at the chilling fish santuary center, it dizzling for a while and when we arrive at the ranger station ,the sun came up. we were ever so happy to see the sun. After almost an hour and half we finally arrive at the waterfall. Some of the gangs waste no time to dip into the icy water. Here are some of the photos taken during the trip.

For those who have never been to chiling before the Chiling Falls are probably the most beautiful waterfalls of Selangor. They can be reached after an adventurous trek along the river, which has to be crossed many times. To reach the trail head, you take the road from Kuala Kubu Baru to the Gap. After passing the Selangor Dam, you cross the bridge on the Chiling river. Just after this bridge you can park you car. Follow the road for about 100 meter, the trail head is clearly indicated. Soon you will arrive an open field beside the river, with some buildings and a campsite, maintained by the Fisheries department. For more information read here.
It was fun , but I did not like the river crossing part one bit, because I felled into one in one of my earlier trip elsewhere. It was not fun to be wet ,plus all your stuff soaked. Good thing I manage to keep my phone and camera dry until I reached home. With that bad experience you can understand how I feel about river crossing.
Anyway it was fun and I must thank my friend william for organising it. see the event posting here.

Oh yes, I also wished to acknowledge my friend Jason, for the ride to our destination and back. Of course my precious for accompany me and making it a memorable trip.

HILLS AND MORE HILLS

After climbing my first rock mountain at Tabur East, which was something new to me and I found I really loved it. So when there was an event organised for Tabur West, I had no hesitation to join.Unlike Tabur East, this was a longer trail and has more rock hills to climb . The whole climb took us about 4 hours. But it was fun and I really enjoyed it and will not mind coming back again and again.

Like most place once people get to know they will flock to the places and last saturday was so crowed, we had to get down by the plantation way just to avoid the jam caused by the people. I just reliase there are so many hills just in selangor, and there are many more I have not climbed yet. However right now I have my mind on tabur extreme just to complete the Tabur saga.

NASA &THE BIBLE

I have came across this article before , and got it again today and thought this might be interesting to include in this blog.

For all the scientists out there, and for all the students who have a hard time convincing these people regarding the truth of the Bible, here's something that shows God's awesome creation, and that He is still in control.

Did you know that the space program is busy proving that what has been called 'myth' in the Bible is true?

Mr. Harold Hill, President of the Curtis Engine Company in Baltimore, Maryland, and a consultant in the space program, relates the following development.

'I think one of the most amazing things that God has done for us today happened recently to our astronauts and space scientists at Green Belt, Maryland .

They were checking out where the positions of the sun, moon, and planets would be 100 years and 1,000 years from now. We have to know this so we won't send up a satellite and have it bump into something later on in its orbits.

We have to lay out the orbits in terms of the life of the satellite and where the planets will be so the whole thing will not bog down.

They ran the computer measurement back and forth over the centuries, and it came to a halt. The computer stopped and put up a red signal, which meant that there was something wrong with either the information fed into it or with the results as compared to the standards.

They called in the service department to check it out, and they said, 'What's wrong?' Well, they found there is a day missing in space in elapsed time.

They scratched their heads and tore their hair out.. There was no answer.

Finally a Christian man on the team said, 'You know, one time I was in Sunday School, and they talked about the sun standing still.' While they didn't believe him, they didn't have an answer either, so they said, 'Show us, '

He got a Bible and went to the book of Joshua where they found a pretty ridiculous statement for any one with 'common sense.'

There they found the Lord saying to Joshua,

'Fear them not, I have delivered them into thy hand; there shall not a man of them stand before Thee.'

Joshua was concerned because he was surrounded by the enemy! And if darkness fell, they would overpower them. So Joshua asked the Lord to make the sun stand still! That's right... 'The sun stood still and the moon stayed and lasted not to go down about a whole day!'
(Joshua 10:12-13)

The astronauts and scientists said, There is the missing day! They checked the computers going back into the time it was written and found it was close but not close enough. The elapsed time that was missing back in Joshua's day was 23 hours and 20 minutes . not a whole day.

They read the Bible, and there it was about [approximately] a day.. These little words in the Bible are important, but they were still in trouble because if you cannot account for 40 minutes, you'll still be in trouble 1000 years from now.

Forty minutes had to be found because it can be multiplied many times over in orbits.. As the Christian employee thought about it, he remembered somewhere in the Bible where it said the sun went BACKWARDS.

The scientists told him he was out of his mind, but they got out the Book and read these words in 2 Kings that told of the following story: Hezekiah, on his death bed, was visited by the prophet Isaiah who told him that he was not going to die. Hezekiah asked for a sign as proof. Isaiah said 'Do you want the sun to go ahead 10 degrees?'

Hezekiah said, 'It is nothing for the sun to go ahead 10 degrees, but let the shadow return backward 10 degrees.' Isaiah spoke to the Lord, and the Lord brought the shadow ten degrees BACKWARD! Ten degrees is exactly 40 minutes!'

Twenty-three hours and 20 minutes in Joshua, plus 40 minutes in Second Kings make the missing day in the universe! Isn't it amazing?

References: Joshua 10:8 and 12,13 and 2 Kings 20:9-11.

The Bible has many interesting scientific facts, you will be surprise what has been written thousand years ago, people are redicovering only now.

SMILE,... I AM ON STAR ON LINE VIDEO.

It was just a normal morning today, I was suppose to do my second session of my personal training with one of the new trainer at the gym. Actually it was just a relief session as the trainer whom I signed up with was away for almost a month. so last week I happen to have a chat with the manager and he said I could get some one to do while waiting for her to return. I did two session with this new girl I found out I like her training more that the trainer whom I signed up with. In fact some of the training methods was quite similar to my god daughter's.Just when we were about to finish our training session the manager came over to informed us that some people from the star paper will be coming to do a video shoot and to do an interview about Jukari and since it a working day there was not many people attending the class and we were requested to attend the class to make up the numbers.so I obliged to join in the class , even though I was not sure if I could be able to do it. I had stop doing jukari due to my nagging shoulder. I was surprise this time it did not hurt and I could went through the whole class.I was having a good time. It was fun.I think I will be looking forward to the next jukari class. Oh yes, I was informed the video should be posted on the web in a week's time. Looking forward to seeing that.
Another strange thing happen in the class . I met a girl whom I had not seen for at least 38 years. she was one of the girl I had a crush on. well I was young then and didnt know better. Anyway she was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen and I think most of the boys were head over heel in love with her. she was from a nearby girls school. Thinking back one of the strangest thing I did was trailing her back home. One day I followed behind her as she was making her way back home, then all of a sudden her bag felled from her bicycle. A part of me wanted to be the hero to help her collect her books, but I got cold feet in the end and cycle pass her. I wondered if things will have been different had I stopped that day. well I guess this is one mystery I will never know.
