The theme for February bulletin is Love.Valentine's Day usually falls in the month of February.Love is more than just romantic love. Some years ago, I came across this article on the different types of love and I would like to share them with you.
The love for equality is human thing:a friend for a friend, brother for brother.It is to love what is lovely.This is human love and the world smiles.
The love for the less fortunate is a beautiful thing:the love for those who suffer, for those who are poor,the sick,the failure and the unlovely.
This is compassion and it touches the heart of the world.
The love for the more fortunate is a rare thing:to love those who succeed where we fail, to rejoice without envy with those who rejoice, the love of the poor for the rich and of the black man for the white man.The world is always bewildered by its saints.
Lastly,is the love for the enemy:love for the one who does not love you but mocks,threatens, and inflicts pain.The torture love for the torturer.This is God's love. It conquers the world.
Love is more than just a feeling.Passion is momentary;love is enduring.Love is an action.Love is
a choice.Love is a commandment.Love is not only something you feel,it is something you do.We can't command our love but we can commandour actions.
Someone once said,"Love is not blind.Love is the only thing that sees.Love is like the wind,you can't see it,but you can feel it.Love is always being given where it is not required"
It has been said,"You can give without loving,but you can never love without giving"
Love does not know geography,love knows no boundaries.Love is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own.L ove is friendship that has caught fire.
It is quiet understanding,mutual confidence,sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times.It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weakness.
Love is content with the present,it hopes for the future and it doesn't brood over the past.It's the 'day-in' and'day- out' chronicles of irritations,problems,compromises,small disappointments,big victories and working toward common goals.
If you have love in your life,it can make up for a great many things that are missing.If you don't have love in your life,no matter what else there is, it's not enough. When someone love you,the way they talk about you is different. You feel safe and comfortable.
Mother Teresa once said,"Let us always meet each other with smile,for the smile is the beginning of love"
Ps: I felt the love from someone special this month. Truely there is Love. I felt the warmth and ii is so good.
