A FRIEND IN DEED

Yesterday I got a messenger message from two of my climbing friends, saying they wanted to climb at camp 5. Since I did not have anything plan in the afternoon, I agreed to Jiin them So after church, I went home for a quick change and made my way to camp 5, Afterway driving I felt something at the back of my car, but I did felt anything strange as I try letting go of my steering wheel while driving and it did not sway side way. One of my friend taught me this to test to see if you have a flat tyre while driving. Upon reaching camp5 and parking my car I notice my back wheel was almost deflated. I figure I will change the tyre after the climb. Upon reaching the climbing gym I made a request to Peter my friend if he could help me change the tyre. He mention he had a pump and would help me pump some air to my tyres and then I could proceed to the nearest shop to get it patched up. Sure enough after the climb we came with his pump and half way through he reliase it was a sunday and not many shop might be open and  then he remember there was a shop where he used to work at in the one utama complex itself. So he made a call to his friend who despatched his worker to where my car was.  This is him waiting till everything was fixed and done before he went off. Such a good friend. He could have just called and left me to wait it out. But no he stayed until he was sure everything was done.My appreciation to you Pete. Thanks pal. This song "friend" by Alan Tam is for you.

TIME DOES HEAL

Well its been a month since I terminate my gym membership. As much ad I loved Body Combat and I enjoyed sifu's class the most, but it is necessary to leave all that behind to allow me time to heal   my hurt and to forget  the bitter memories due to some incident that I do not wish to remember. Anyway I had a wonderful workout at sifu's class this evening. Met one of the ex member of the previous club. True to her word when she said she will dropby on my invitation to catch up with sifu. It was nice to see her again. Prior to tonight's workout I was invite to another club by another club member. She greet me with a hug just as she did to other  club members whom she is close with. Wonder what would my haters says if they saw what she did. ? Though I had not know her that long she is such a nice person and so friendly. I will treasure such Friendships

WHICH SHOULD I CHOOSE?

My first ever blunder . I have registered for two race which falls on the same day. I only reliase it when i checked back the event page and my planner calender. Obviously I cannot be in two different places at the same time so which one should i choose?  We cannot advoid making choices. We have to choose we cannot just walk away from it and pretend nothing had happen. A decision has to be made. The ksl race is further from the run for humanity. The later is without bib and i suppose without medal as well but it is much nearer and besides i dont really care much for the medal as i am not a collector. So i guess the nearer venue wins. So far this year I was able to resist the temptation of joining many run   Todate I have only registered 3. The venue is the deciding factor for joinng one. Its already a week since I stop going to the gym and I am already getting restless so I went to check out a nearby gym. There are no chardio classes only normal machines and free weight.  I am still thinking about it and have not arrive at any decision yet. Maybe I will check out the muai thai class at a nearby gym.Need to consider the cost before I sign up.
