SOMETHING ABOUT HER

Here are some of the attributes and characterics about Darissa Lim, my grand daughter who turned 11 months just days ago.

* She would not drink water from the bottle. We had to spoon fed her.
* When she had enough she will blow bubble, instead of swallowing.
* We must never mention nien nien(Milk) in front of her, or she will start crying.She just can't wait and     must have her fill of Milk pronto. Now we will used our  secret code and would ask , is she due to have her NN yet? Then quickly get it ready and give her a surprise.
 * Bath time is always fun, she will splash the water and getting me wet.
 * Now she crawed all over the place and once she went underneath the chair and her mum could not find her. She search my room, thinking I was talking care of Darissa. Then she went to the hall again and heard some noise and look beneath the chair Lo and behold little Darissa was underneath playing with her potty.
 * When she sleep ,she must hold on to the hands of whoever is sleeping with her.
*  She is always bullying the family dog and try to pull her fur.
*  She sleep with her legs up, even when she is on the stroller,  her legs would be up.
*  When she scream, it is almost deafening.
*  She likes to tease us with her false cry.(no tears ) real cheeky of her.

I guess these are the things that makes her unique .

ROCK WORLD(KULAI),THE NEW CLIMBING GYM IN TOWN

The new rock climbing gym finally open it's door on 16th september, 2012.  I was one of the few invited guest for their opening /launching.  Just when I had return to klang for good this gym opens right at kulai, where I was previously based. Previously I had to travelled about an hour drive to desa cemerlang to their 1st gym. If I had only knew I would had delayed my going back home. haiz.
Anyway this gym is just top rope , no bouldering yet. Currently it is the biggest one at Johor.
I started my journey together with my friend Lilian , who had graciouly offered to drive me there. At 5.30am she picked me from my home and we headed for the highway.  It was a rainy and wet drive through out the journey, and I was thinking, what a good weather to be in bed,but since I had given my word to my friend I would be there on the opening, so I had to keep my word. One friend was suppose to join us at one of the R& R, but last minute he backed out. Here are the photos taken by my friend Lilian, and some by rockworld.

this young girl is the daughter of the guy in red, from the Petit bouldering center . She is only 6 ,but she sure can climb.

SHE KEPT ME AWAKE ALL NIGHT

No it was not my wife nor my lover(wishful thinking lol) but my beloved grand daugther, Darissa.
Her mum was not feeling well last night, and my wife appointed me as the nanny for the night, as she was worried her precious grand daughter might catch the virus. Usually my wife will take care of her if she is not working the next day or it happen to be her off day. Since  I was not working now, the onus was on me to take care of Darissa for the night.  It's been quite a while since I took care of a baby over night. The last time was like a decade or more when I took care of a friend's baby girl when ever the parent was on holidays.
Anyway taking care of Darissa was quite an experience for me.She tossed and turned for almost half an hour before she fell asleep. She had a cute habit, she need to hold someone's hand each time she sleep.
I was awaken a couple of time, every time her pacifer fell out. She will let out a cry, but not the type of cry when she is in pain . Even when she is hungry, she will be cry this way(without tears). It took me quite a while before I fell into slumberland only to be awaken again around 4.30am. She was wide awake, playing by herself and waiting for her milk. She needs no alarm as far as feedtime is concern, even if we lost track of the time, she will remind us of her feeding time ,but one thing bad about her is she is very impatient as far as her feeding time is concern. Even a few minutes late she will let go of her 'siren' and it will go louder if we don't get her milk on time. Now feeding her is much easier, as she was able to hold her bottle since a couple of months ago. Once she is finish, she will take out the bottle from her mouth.  Ok I need to catch on my sleep as looks like I would be on duty tonight again.

10 months plus.

she will be 11 months in five day's time.

IN HELPLESS MODE

It's been more than a week since I left my job. How come I don't seems to be able to enjoy my rest?
I have since started job hunting two days ago without any luck. Either the jobs were not what I was looking for or they were looking for younger people. Oh yes I had to walked to all those factories which was nearby my house. I am now without my car, as my son need it more than I do. I can't go anywhere further from my home. Have to wait for saturday when my wife do not work on alternate saturdays. In the mean time I am like a wingless bird,so helpless.I can't even plan for holiday in case I do land a job. Then there is uncertainity when the General Election will be called. No thanks to our undecisive PM.
 Perhaps this song best describe my feelings now. Hope you enjoy her sweet voice as I did.
