This afternoon I received a letter from the company informing me of my retirement which will take effect on my Birthday in oct 2009. This is one birthday I am not looking forward to. Why must they follow to the letter. can't they just let me at least complete the whole month.?? I was so moody the whole day after receiving the letter. I just do have the mood for anything. So I sent a text message to my God daughter if she could have dinner with me later in the evening. At first she said she could not due to her work commitment. Later on she text me to say she could make time for me after all.
That really cheer me up a bit. I always enjoyed her company. Thanks Paupei for the time. you really cheer me up. Well Oct is not too far away and my birthday is on the 2nd week and that's when I will clock in for the last time.
Tomorrow will be another working day for me until that final day arrive. I will still put in my best as I always have. Since the day I first joined the work force I have never short change the company. I always believe in giving one's best and I believe I have discharged my duties to the best of my ability. I have never exhausted my Mc. in fact I think I have a clean records as far as Mc are concerned. I can remember there was only one or two occasion where I really need an Mc as I was really sick. When I retired at least I can hold my head high knowing I had done my best.Wonder what retiree do after they retired??
