CAN LOVE BE MEASURE?

Love means never having to say you're sorry" is a line from the novel and 1970 film Love Story starring Ali MacGraw and Ryan O'Neal
Love is a many splendored thing and can be expressed in many ways, but can it be measured?
The Bee Gees sang how deep is your love? So if there is a question there must be an answer right?
I asked my God daugther the other day do you love dad and how much? This is  her answer
Love is an uncountable word , I can't measure how much that I love u dad , but I can tell u , is my pleasure to have u be my dad, Appreciate paternal love from u ..u hav a place in my heart

Sometimes silly old man like me need an assurance. Her answer really warm my heart. It's good enough for me.

We need love and we want to hear it from our loved ones.

  1. Love cannot be measured, but we feel it. Honestly I'm very close to my mom, we chat for hours and do that again the following day. My dad on the other hand, is always being "left-out", hahaha.... It's not that I don't care for him. I love him wholly, he's the first man I love now and forever :)

We rarely involve him in our gossips, kekeke....

  5. I never express my love to my dad in words, but what I did for him, he would know how much I care for him. Action speaks louder word, right?

  6. Sheoh Yan,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. No doubt action speaks louder than words, but for me I love to hear it out too and I believe I am not the only one. I know someone who likes that too .
