Some interesting Disclaimers

A disclaimer is generally any statement intended to specify or delimit the scope of rights and obligations that may be exercised and enforced by parties in a legally-recognized relationship. I am sure you would have come across some sort of disclaimers in one way or another.I have come across some interesting ones which I would like to share herewith.
The common one which I came across are in business mails which is something like this:-

The information contained in this email (and any attachments) are intended only for the use of the individual or entity named above and may contain information that is privileged and confidential. If the reader of this message is not the intended recipient, you are hereby notified that any use, dissemination, distribution or copying of this communication is strictly prohibited and may be unlawful. If you have received this message in error, please immediately notify the sender and delete the mail.

 

The deleting part should be no problem, but I wonder if anyone actually notify the sender when they discovered the mails was wrongly sent to them?

Then there is the anti spam disclaimers  :-

Anti-SPAM Policy Disclaimer: Mail cannot be considered spam as long as we include contact information and a remove link for removal from this mailing list. If this e-mail is unsolicitedplease accept our apologies.

 

Note: This email is only for our potential clients. If you have accidentally received thisplease accept our deepest apologies. To choose not to receive future emails from us simply click "UNSUBSCRIBE

I didn't know there is also a discriminating disclaimer which is quite interesting that read something like this:-

SUNY Cobleskill is stongly committed to Affirmitive Action and Equal Opportunity and does not discriminate on the basis on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, veteran status, disability, marital status, or sexual orientation in any of its programs or activities.

The last one is my favourite . I particularly like the last paragraph.
