SURPRISE GIFT

I was rather surprised to receive this gift seeing Christmas is already over. I am thankful for the kind gesture but at the same time feel bad as i have no gift to give in return. Shall i just accept it without feeling guilty or should i buy something in return?  Anyone in similar situation? But if it is from a loved one or very closed friends I wont feel uneasy at all.
