WHAT IS YOUR NAME AGAIN?

Just some events that happened over the weekend

As I was there standing ,at the gym studio, lost in my thoughts, this gorgeous girl just walk past by me and smile. I was stunned for a moment, not because of her beauty but because I had no idea who she was. Later only I reliase I have met her before, but I have no memories of her. I could not recall her name. Is age catching up?  On  second thoughts , I can remember certain people’s name that I have met. Why is it so hard to remember some people’s name and yet I have no difficulties remembering others? And this is not the first occasion. Many a time people just called out to me and I could not acknowledged them in return. At most I could only smile or say hello or hi. It is so embarassing not able to remember them. Hopefully they won't think I was being arrogant or proud. Good think they never ask what's my name.?(say my name)*
The other event happened yesterday, when I updated my facebook status about doing a mini hike nearby. I got this message from a girl whom I have not met for more than a year, asking if she could join me. Of course I agreed. It's not like me to refuse a request. We were suppose to do two trail, but after the first one she said she was hungry and wanted to have breakfast, so I said ok .When we reached the restaurant she called to invite a friend to join us. We did not talk much doing the hike and with her friend, she was talking to her friend most of the time. Even after our meal and when it was time to go our separate ways, it was not much of a goodbye and hope to see you again kind of thing. I guess that will be the last I hear from her.

Another eventful moments was some photos that shown up on my facebook time line. It was posted by someone who had unfriend me after some misunderstanding. I am surprise it still shows up. Anyway I had no hard feeling towards her. I still cherished the memories we had together.
