CARELESSNESS OR WHAT?

It is just sad to learnt of yet another death of a little child . Just a few days back another child was left in the car which was driven off by a thief .  All this could have been avoided, had the parent taken that extra precaution or make some effort. Sure it is a bit inconvenience, to take them down even it is just for a short while to the shop to get one item.  One split second is all that is needed for the would be thief to strike.  I remember when I had to take care of my two boys, the younger one four years apart from the elder one. Each time I drop by the shop to buy something, I would stop the engine, get them both out of the car, carried one and held the older one by the hand.
I had read too many horrible stories of children and even babies ,who died because irresponsible parent had left them in the car. I was determine not to repeat their mistakes.   Back then there was not many stories of baby being kidnapped, but common sense will tell us the children will be very uncomfortable if left in the car all alone, apart from the heat even with the air conditioner on.  I also had a very frightening experience when both my wife and I when shopping. Since there was no one to take care of our child, we had to bring him along . He was around 4 or 5 at that time. Both of us was busy shopping when suddenly we reliase our boy was missing. Horrors of horror , we ran around looking for him frantically.Thank God a security guard found him wandering and soon we heard the announcement of a missing child and we rush to get our son.  It was a lesson which we had never forget and that experience taught us to be more careful  . Needless to say there was no repeat of such incident, even when the second son arrived we did fine even when we had to bring both of them along shopping.
Parent cherish your children, do not put them in danger in any way.

  1. The world is getting scarier, especially in our country. Really must be extra alert and careful when bringing kids along.

  2. Now this missing kids had died. It was the stranger who caused him to die. It was actually the parents who caused his death. The world is changed. We can't trust anyone, including their own parents, how sad?

  3. Thanks for the reminder, Johnnie.

I'm very paranoid about my children's safety. I try not to leave my eyes off them and like our recent family trip to KL, I didn't do any shopping at all in the mall because I was afraid I might lose them and keep many many eyes on them.
