LYNAS :DON'T WE HAVE A SAY IN THIS?

Numerous report on the danger, but our dear PM says it is safe. How sure are you.Well this article is not something to to take lightly.The People have spoken, they have raised their concern on the danger of the rare earth. It is clear we malaysian do not want Lynas project.

What happen to putting people first (Rakyat di dahulukan) Mr PM? I guess it's just one of your empty talk.

You can take our votes for granted, but please don't gamble with our lives

Are you going to let something happen to sweet innocent lives such as these before you erred.?

WHAT IRRESPONSIBLE ACT THIS IS

I was alert by a hiker friend who hike at Tabur regulary as she stays only  stone throw away from the beautiful hills.  I am sadden by this irresponsible act and vandalism.  I am totally against any kind of 

gratiffi and certainly not on our wonderful and beautiful heritage. Why can't they admire nature and leave it intact.?  I always encourage my hikers buddies to follow the hiker's creed which is:-

TAKE ONLY PICTURES,
LEAVE ONLY FOOTPRINTS
KILL ONLY TIME.
I suspect these are not nature lovers or hikers, they are just tourist, who come and go. They are the likes of those who saw it no wrong to throw rubbish out of their cars while driving. I wish there are laws to percecute such wrong doers.

I FEEL FOR YOU

Just got a text message from a Hiker friend, saying she was in a bad shape now. Her boy friend who is also a mutual friend just broke up with her for the second time.! Reason given was there was no more passion left. Then why do you want to put her to this agony again?  I wrote back to console her and wished I could offer her my shoulder , but atlas I am miles away. I am honour she consider me friend enough to share this with me. This is not the first time I have been told of this kind of heart breaking news. The first time was my little girl, but thank God she was strong and have since got over it  . Why do  guys want to play with a girl's feeling?  Are they just interested to bed them and then dump them?  Come on they are human with feelings not things for God sake!. How would like it if someone do it to your sister(s)?? Someday you will be parent too and if someone would to do that to your own daughter(s) would you like it?
If you are not sure,  then don't start a relationship. Be honest and let them know earlier , not after you have got tired of them.  It is people like these that give man a bad name.

MOVING SOON

It's been a year since moving to my house which is provided by the company. A couple of  weeks the owner called to informed he had sold the house and so I have to look for a new abode and time is running out. There were so many vacant house nearby where I stay but sadly there is no sign board for rent. I failed to understand why did the owners just left the house the way they are now.Some of them are really in a bad shape now. Some are even vandalized. There was one I saw a tree has grown really tall at the back yard. I understand some of these houses were offered to those in the Army. Surely not given free.? Why did they not maintain  them and just leave them idle? I am sure they need to service the bank. A week ago I had a look at one of the house not too far from my current house, but the rental was slightly higher and when enquired why the extra price , I was told it was because I am a chinese. Huh? what has renting got to do with races?  The explanation was they have to engage a bomoh or Iman to perform some rtitual when I moved out later one. From the looks of it the owner might not be too keen to rent it to a non muslim as he can not call back, even though I told him I was ready to sign the tenancy agreedment.
Well I have less than a month or so to get a new one or else I will have to sleep in my car.

AT THE PUTRA JAYA CHALLENGE PARK ONCE MORE.

This is my second visit to the Putra Jaya Challenge Park.  This climbing gym has massaive overhangs, upt to 25 meters high.
Lead walls range from moderate to very difficult. French 6A to 7C or more.It is one of the largest in Asia with a building space of 2,100 square feet with 20 metre height, 42 metre wide and 42 metre long Trapezional-shaped climbing walls.

It also includes a wide competition boulder wall, a gigantic advanced wall, vast room for beginners, a separate children climbing area, warm-up and training room. 

My main reason for this visit was just to catch up with friends, since I have the afternoon free, not so much as to climb. However I did climb three times and was drained out.The fear of height is still there.Even though, I was sercurely hooked on a harness, the thought of falling never go away. Still it was much better than the last time I was here. Then my friends  wanted to go to a near by restaurant for tea and at the same time to celebrate another friend's birthday.  After tea, I have to leave them, while they went back to the gym to continue.  I have another dinner appointment and have to go back to freshen up.

A DATE WITH A LOVELY LASS

Months ago, I pop the question to her and she said yes. So after weeks of waiting, the day finally came. Yes ,this morning I finally met up with her at Empire Gallery, Subang Jaya and had lunch together. Oh did I lead you on?  If you were thinking that kind of question of course not.  I had a good lunch with a warm beautiful lass from Kota Kinabalu. She is none other than my blogger friend Caroline Ng.This is her blog  I found her to be warm and friendly and took a liking to her immediately. She came with her boy friend Eric Lee .  Wish we could have chat longer, but I have another date with a group of hikers friends at Putra Jaya Challenge center for wall climbing. I had a good time Caroline and Eric, Thanks guys for coming.

ANG POW MEANS RED PACKET , NOT WHITE UNDERSTAND?

In Chinese culture , red denotes purity, joy, and celebration. Red is the color of happiness and prosperity and is believe to attract good luck. On the other hand white is used only on sad occassion like funeral.
It is almost a common knowledge that when one hand out AngPow(literally meaning red packet)it can't be any other color except red. Anyone having lived in Malaysia long enough will definatelly knows that .
The recent incident where the President of Perkasa hand out money in white envelop at a chinese new year gathering and claiming he does not know, does not hold water.  Surely he can ask around if he is not sure and havent he heard of google.?  Here are some infos on Angpow here  and here . Today's report that he had ran out of red packet. Come on who are you kidding?  If you are planing  a function like this surely you come prepared. You make sure you have more than enough, not just enough packets. Even if you ran out you can surely go to a nearby shop to buy some. You can even get some from any chinese association, I am sure they have some to spare.  Funny thing no word from the so call champion of the chinese on this matter.
