YEAR END 2019

Well it is that time of the year again. In less than a week, we will step into a new year.2020
So many events, incidents happened for year 2019, some pleasant, and some no so pleasant.
Here are some of the memories I can recall for the year.
*My first god daughter st who is now in Australia, I guess is happily settled here.
 In the first year she was there, I still get calls from her and occassionaly messages. Then it stop all together.Well that's the story of my life. Those whom I cared for don't seems to stay for long.They come and they leave.

** My gym dotter left her old gym for another gym, which gave her a better deal. I am happy for her.
 Just as I fear, since we don't get to meet that often now compare to previously ,she  too has drifted away...Oh well...

***  My third whom I nick name weekend dotter, since we only met on weekend most of the time. It was quite by accident she became my god dotter. Someone we met at the outdoor while climbing asked me if she was my daughter, and I replied does she look like me? I guess then she must be.We joked about it and hastaged each other every time we took some selfies. since then we have met quite
often and even celebrate each other's birthdays. She is by far very generous with her time and most
of the time able to accompany me when I make a request to meet up. She also help me to do a multi pitch climb at damai wall,my first ever.

****  This year I decided to keep my beard for the children camp which was in November.some of the reaction I got:-
i. one lady says oh are you taking a vow?
ii. I get funny stares from various people
iii. Some very good vides from some friends,  and even those not so close one. comments like
    it suit you.. or new look?  how I wished I can grew like yours. meant alot.
iv. My car gave me problems countless time this year. I had the engine overhauled, followed by a
    changed of the gearbox as the sensor was not working.It cause me a bomb.Then just a couple of days a got the gear would not engage while driving and now the car is in the workshop. I don't know how much it will cost me this time. My road tax is due next month. what a way to end the year and to start a new year. I had plan for another trip to mulu in May. Now I am not sure if I will have enough
for the trip. I had intended to settle my credit cards debts once I get my bonus, but now it looks like
my plans are going up in smoke.

Anyway Happy new year everyone. Hope you will have a good year ahead.

AFTER THOUGHTS

How time flies, another two more months we will enter yet another new year.
I just celebrate my 65th birthday, with some good friends at the gym. This year only my elder son with his wife, my grandaughter and my wife accompany me for my birthday.

My God daughter in Australia just wish me casually not like her usual loving ways.
I am just wondering maybe it is just a passing phrase. I am never fated to have a good father-daughter relationship?   Dare I hope for better improvement for my other two?
I guess I will just take things not so seriously and take it as they come no point over think of such things.
Anyway I always says one thing and then do another and keep changing my mind whenever I meet up with them. I think it's my weakness to love so easily..


I am still loving my outdoor activities.. Next year I hope to be able to do another Mulu and or Kuching trip.Catching up with old friends before time catches up with me.


 

WATCH OUT

There is no escape from this annoying advertisment. Lately there are so many of these smart watch add, that keep on poping up, whenever I am on facebook or even instagram.
There all look so nice and the features are so nice. It's so tempting, but I have to make a stand and
not give in. I had a few of them already and they don't last.Even those that cost me quite a bit dont last.Below are just two examples of now good looking these watches are. Some of the deal is really a steal. But I have learnt (from bad experience)if a deal is too good to be true, chances are , they are.
I have been ripped off by some dishonest people and ended up with some cheap stuff instead of what they advertised. so I have to be extra careful in order not to fall victims of their deceiful trade.

The branded ones are too expensive.  So I guess I just have made do with just admiring the post for now. My dream watch is a polar, or a Hua wei      ?

I ended up with this because of the discount offered plus I had made purchase on this web site before and so I have confident to make my purchase here.  However the only thing I found working to my liking was the bluetooth camera remote. Other functions don't seems to work. Like mail and phone alert.

NEW YEAR, NEW HOPE

After months of deliberating, I finally did what I should have done long ago.  I torn up the album that records the memory that I was holding on to.  Despite the numerous hint , I still refuse to give up hope. Finally it dawn upon me, it will not happen. She has been diplomatic I could tell. Everytime the excuse was the same wording. Have been busy lately . Sometimes I wished people will just be straight forward and tell the truth rather than beating around the bush. Anyway I have put it all behind me now and move on since.
I am glad I did , because on the 8th of Jan 2019 I found someone adorable , warm and friendly and she call me Daddy..So  life is great and if you give out love, you will received them in return.

Looking foward to have more adventure and chilling time ahead with my angel.
