WHAT A BORING DAY THAT WAS

Two days of raya holiday, with nothing much to do , except checking my mail and facebook. read some blogs and comments. The weather isnt helping at all. Too hot to go out. Is this going to be a foretell of things to come? I dont want to end my life like this. I got to get a job fast. I cant carry on this way. I will go insane.
My wife was quite concern and offer to drive me around some factories nearby to check out if there are any job opening. Tomorrow will resume duty for the next 7 days, before I call it quit in the workforce. Then it's job hunting again. Wish me the best. I need to look to Him.
I think this song by whitney houston best describe how I feel right now

As I lay me down
Heaven hear me now
I’m lost without a cause
After giving it my all

winter’s storm has come and darkened my sun
After all that we’ve been through
Who on earth can I turn to

I look to you
I look to you

After all my strength is gone
In you I can move on

I look to you
I look to you

And when melodies are gone
In you I hear a song

I look to you

Climbing Apek Hill one more time.

Since we missed our last hiking trip, we are glad we could make it to this the hike at saga. As I was not sure of the way to this hill I had made arrangement with my friend derique to meet at our usual meeting place. We left klang at around 8.00am my friend informed me he had another event after the hike so I had to drive my own car.It started raining during the journey and my friend ask if we should cancel the hike or to continue. I deceide to proceed as planned(not wanting to repeat the same wrong decision I made the last time) We reached the hill at around 10.00am.The reason it took us so long to reach was , enroute we detour to some shop to have breakfast as my friend and his companion had not taken their breakfast.
The trail was wet due to the rain the previous day. Somehow this time the climb seems easy .Was it because I had conquered Bukit Naung? Anyway I still enjoyed the climb even though it was the second time I had climb this hill. My friend Irene and her family too enjoyed the climb( especially the son Joe),and request we come back again. One thing I liked about this hill is it is so different from the others that I have climb. somehow the community here had taken ownership of the hill and provide alot of facilities and making this hill as cosy as possible. There is a canopy and even a clock at the summit. There are tables and benches to allow people to relax and have their meals. At the foot of the hill there is even some brushes for people to wash their dirty shoes .This comes handy during the wet seasons. We tried to look for the herbal tea stall that brogger ah hong mentioned in his blog but could not find it.Maybe it is on another side of the hill I guess.

WHAT AN ADVENTURE

We left klang around midnight for Kenyir lake on sunday and arrived the jetty at around 9.30 am the next day. From the jetty it was another 1 hour and 45 mins to our destination in the one corner of the lake. My friends lost no time in getting the fishing gears , the moment we reach our destination. On the first day it was pretty warm and the gen set was switched on only around 7.00 pm every day and auto shut around 5.00am. so there was nothing much to do except to fish and fish. I did not catch any until the second day. I got five in all , but two got away. My lovely wife got 4. not bad for first timers. .
We had fresh fish almost every meal, some from our catch. Almost 18 hours on the road, and 3 hours boat ride. Very tired and exhausted, but otherwise quite enjoyable.
What a trip.,what an adventure.!
Lesson learnt from the trip: you need patience to fish.
Here are some of the photos of our trip and more here

CHANGED

Though you may denied it,
Baby I sense it, you have changed
No Matter what I said
No Matter what I do
I know now, they meant nothing to you

Though you may not admit it
Baby I sense it , you have have changed
Since your mind 's make up
So be it, Do what you must

Let it be said
It was you who changed not me
So have it your way
Do your thing

Maybe someday when you see things differently
When you choose to come back
Just like the Prodigal son's home coming
A Daddy with open arm will be waiting.

FRIENDS :WILL THEY REMAIN AS FRIENDS?

To my many friends, my appreciation to you. I wish to say thanks for being my friends and it is my desire we remains friends till eternity. I have been thinking and wondering why some friends choose to cut off ties? I would understand and even respect you if you would at least let me know the reasons why we can't remain friends anymore, but to just disappear without a word is just being iresponsible!. It makes me reliase people can be fake, they say one thing and do another. It changes my view on the human race. It open my eyes to see that people can be deceitful. It caution me now to be more careful whom I consider as friends and not to be too attached with anyone.

But I am thankful and grateful for the handful who still remains faithful friends Thank you my friends.
