There was a little knock on my door and a small voice. I open it, and there stand the cutest little guy in his Poli(this is the lastest cartoon craze for kids) pajamas. He wanted to wished me good nite. So sweet of him. I gave him a hug and kissed him good night. My grand daughter,is staying at another house and thus I will missed her good night, but she does greet me with the sweetest hello and hug whenever I visted her. I missed the good nights and morning greetings from my two little girls. One in a far away land. The other due to some stupid mistake I did and she wont talk to me anymore.
My late mother once told me, no matter how bad a child is, he is still the parent's child and they will still love him. I must have been a naughty boy as a child. Anyway so true in her words. That is the unconditional love of a parent.
Sometimes the blessings are just the simple things in life like hello and greetings which we take for granted. This is another year and my time clock is ticking away. The little time I have I just wish to have peace and enjoy the little blessing that I have. My one wish is to see the success of my god daughters and wished them all the best.
Just recollection of my thoughts...nothing serious. Thinking allowed(aloud) Ranting or emo if you must

LOOKING FORWARD TO A MEMORABLE DAY
I am actually looking forward to the day when I will turn 60. Forty-seven days to go , I will be offically 60. I want it to be as memorable as possible. I had plan to celebrate my Birthday on the peak of my favourite hill, Tabur .the west peak to be exact. To date I have hike Tabur 55 times, 5 more trip it will be my 60th climb and I have choosen Oct 6th for the 60th climb on my 60th birthday.
Some of my hiking buddies are so supportive and promised they will hike with me on that day. Oh by the way, it will also be a public holiday on my birthday. It's that just great? Apart from the climb, I will also be doing something I had never done before- a night run and also will be doing a 16Km. This will be an achievement for me if I survived, as running is not something I am passionate about. Just that I wanted to do something different while I still could. I am thankful to God for giving me good health which enable me to do some of the things a lot of people my age, might not be able to do.
