AFTER THOUGHTS

How time flies, another two more months we will enter yet another new year.
I just celebrate my 65th birthday, with some good friends at the gym. This year only my elder son with his wife, my grandaughter and my wife accompany me for my birthday.

My God daughter in Australia just wish me casually not like her usual loving ways.
I am just wondering maybe it is just a passing phrase. I am never fated to have a good father-daughter relationship?   Dare I hope for better improvement for my other two?
I guess I will just take things not so seriously and take it as they come no point over think of such things.
Anyway I always says one thing and then do another and keep changing my mind whenever I meet up with them. I think it's my weakness to love so easily..


I am still loving my outdoor activities.. Next year I hope to be able to do another Mulu and or Kuching trip.Catching up with old friends before time catches up with me.


 

FATHER-DAUGHTER MOMENTS

I alway enjoy reading about father & daughter relationship/moments. This is one of them.

For years in concert, Bon Jovi has accompanied performances of “I Got the Girl” to home movies of Jon Bon Jovi‘s daughter, Stephanie, dancing as a young girl. But during their band’s show in Las Vegas last Saturday, he brought her out to showcase her moves.

The video, which was found by NBC’s Today show, is embedded above. During the breakdown midway through the song, Bon Jovi said, “Everybody’s got a little girl in their life — their daughter, their girlfriend, their wife, their momma. But it all goes by so fast. And they start out as little bitty babies and their future’s looking bright. And I wrote this song for that little baby, who’s now not such a little baby anymore.” He then notes how many members of his band have daughters before jumping back into the tune. Stephanie, now 23, makes her appearance at the 4:56 mark. The two dance for a little less than a minute, after which they hug and kiss.
