A DATE WITH A LOVELY LASS

Months ago, I pop the question to her and she said yes. So after weeks of waiting, the day finally came. Yes ,this morning I finally met up with her at Empire Gallery, Subang Jaya and had lunch together. Oh did I lead you on?  If you were thinking that kind of question of course not.  I had a good lunch with a warm beautiful lass from Kota Kinabalu. She is none other than my blogger friend Caroline Ng.This is her blog  I found her to be warm and friendly and took a liking to her immediately. She came with her boy friend Eric Lee .  Wish we could have chat longer, but I have another date with a group of hikers friends at Putra Jaya Challenge center for wall climbing. I had a good time Caroline and Eric, Thanks guys for coming.

KEEPING APPOINTMENT WITH SOMEONE NICE

I Have been chating with this girl since we first met and during one of our meeting on facebook somehow the subject is mostly on food and so I pop the question can we do lunch sometime and she said yes. I  would have prefer to call it a date ,but she said let's call it an appointment. Being a girl friday you wil understand why she refer such word. Now most people they will just tell you things they don't meant.
They will come up with all kind of excuses like they are having exams,they got lots of stuff to do  etc.
really? I meant how much time would a lunch or dinner takes. One have to eat after all  right?
I hate this kind of people. I would prefer they tell it right away ,sorry I can't  then you will not offend people right?
Our appointment was suppose to be last month ,but due to some last minute plan I had to defered it . I am do not like to cancel appointment once the date have been fixed, but to postpone it is an exceptional for either party. Anyway yesterday she was kind enough to sent me a reminder to confirm our "appointment"
We were to meet at the curve As I was not too familiar with that place I left an hour earlier  before our meeting time. While on the road, I received her sms saying she will be delayed due to some last errant she need to do for her mum. I was early so I  was ok with that and anyway as expected I had some trouble getting there got on the wrong  road and had to detour before I finally reached the curve. I gave her a call and was told to get myself a drink at starbuck while waiting for her.  Since she will be delayed quite a bit I stopped by at the weekend street market and got myself a new cover and screen protector for my Iphone

While waiting I took some photos of people walking by just to kill time.

 The things  at the street was not that cheap including the phone accesories that I bought, but what to do ? That was what I needed and I do not have time to go around hunting for them. I asked the girl for the direction to starbuck,got myself a cold latte . Half an hour later she show up and was very apologetic,which was not necessary at all. She showed up that was all that matters. Some people would have easily FFK. We chat quite abit and I suggested we grab something to eat as I was hungry by then.
I have not had  tapanyakii  for more than 5 years or so, but it turn out to be disppointing.  Firstly the rice was not served on a bowl, and the food was salty and the garlic was hard.

After lunch took a stroll in the mall, stopped by Harvey norman where some guys was doing a demo for a new steam iron. Out of curiousity I asked what the selling price and guess  what was the reply?
About 7K after discount.!  One funny incident I would like to share here. A sale girl approached us with free gift of two AA batteries if we complete a survey form. Then something struck my mind . is this one of the ways telemarketeers obtain our phone numbers?  To play safe  both of us put in some ficticious numbers.  Some poor soul will have some hard time entertaining some unneccessary phone calls. Soon it was time to say goodbye, as my friend had to return back to the office. Duty calls!
